Delivery Charges

CaterGiant delivers throughout the UK and also to most countries worldwide.

UK Mainland
Insured and tracked courier delivery for most items is based on value:

Order Value (net)	Shipping Cost (+vat)
Orders upto £99.99	£12.00
Orders £100 to £499.99	£18.00
Orders £500 & £1999.99	£35.00
Orders £2000 & over	£65.00

The delivery charge is calculated on the total net order value, irrespective of the number of items.

Trade or bulk orders requiring palletised delivery will be charged at cost, typically £55 per pallet.

Please note on some products such as Miele Professional machines, there is a mandatory requirement to purchase installation and commissioning to effect the on-site warranty, and so the fees for these services will be quoted with the delivery charge. Miele Delivery & Installation - more details

For larger items, if you have not purchased installation services, delivery will normally be effected at the drivers discretion either kerb-side for palletised goods or to a ground floor outside entrance or pavement area.

Standard delivery occurs Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays) anytime between 9am and 6pm. We are unable to give a specific time, leave goods at another address or ask the driver to phone ahead. You will need to have someone at your delivery address to receive and sign for the goods during the above hours.

Fast Track Service
If you require an urgent delivery - same-day, next-day or weekend - please call us on 020 3143 5904 during our office hours to request our optional Fast Track Service which is available for certain product lines. Request a Quote or call us and have to hand the following information:

UK Islands and Highlands
For postcodes starting BT, IM, TR21-25, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE delivery will be charged according to the shipment weight and delivery address. Please contact us with the information specified below for a quotation.

International Delivery
We deliver to almost every country throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, by sea or air using reputable carriers. Larger items are securely packed in a certified shipping crate. We can also deliver to your own shipping agent in the UK.

Please contact us with the information specified below for a quotation. We will quote for shipping to a designated port (including insurance upto the full value of the goods and wooden crate enclosure where necessary. You will be responsible for any local duties and taxes, customs charges, any unloading fees and onward forwarding costs.

European Union Orders: If you are in a EU country (outside the UK), please also provide us with your VAT registration number to qualify for zero-rated VAT (upto 31st October 2019).

Card Payments: Card payments are not accepted for international orders outside the UK. Please pay by bank transfer - our bank details will be sent on receipt of your order with a Proforma Invoice.
